Namaste! I am a practicing Physiotherapist for the past 24 years. I obtained my B.Sc. in Physical Therapy at State University of New York, U.S.A, and M.Sc. in Biomechanics and Ergonomics at New York University. I practiced traditional Physical Therapy for 15 years, at hospitals and outpatient clinics in New York, Michigan and Maryland. My rehab work spanned acute care, neurology, cardio-pulmonary, vestibular, orthopaedics, sports medicine and women’s health.
In 2011, I began learning the John F Barnes’ (JFB) Myofascial Release (MFR) treatment approach. I instantly connected with the mind-body-spirit approach of MFR, and that led to several years of further training and skill enhancement with the JFB MFR program.
I also got trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) from the Upledger Institute. I find MFR and CST to be very beneficial in treating not just musculoskeletal conditions but also a wide variety of disorders and systemic issues.
In 2014, I formed “Vitality Physical Therapy LLC” in Pittsburgh, PA to offer holistic rehab. Our clinic grew rapidly and many patients benefitted immensely from our services. I started a clinical mentorship program where clinicians learned and practiced MFR techniques under my supervision. I participated in many community Health and Wellness talks and workshops to increase awareness about holistic rehab options.
In 2019, me and my family decided to relocate to India to be closer to our parents.
It gives me great pleasure to start Ojas Wellness Center in Bangalore. I look forward to offering MFR and CST approach, a safer and effective treatment option than the use of drugs and surgical procedures.

I have been practicing Ayurvedic medicine since 2002, based on traditional ayurveda principles, after having graduated with a B.A.M.S. degree from Nagpur University. I run my own Ayurveda and panchakarma clinic (in Amravati, Maharashtra), and prepare my own Shastrokta medicines. I believe in using a thorough approach for evaluating and treating my patients, and have partnered with Ojas Wellness Center to provide Ayurvedic consultations & treatment.
Besides my clinic responsibilities, I am involved in following activities, with the goal of informing and educating others on the potential of Ayurvedic-based healthcare
• Conduct workshops e.g. Herbal Medicine Technical Training for M.C.E.D.
• Deliver lectures and talks on health related issues from Ayurvedic point of view - e.g. radio talk at Akashwani Nagpur, in-person lectures at Rotary Club and N.C.C. camps, Senior Citizens Club, various women's organizations
• Presentations at clinical meetings on topics like (1) Ayurvedic Cosmetology, (2) Cervical Spondylosis, (3) Ark Preparations (demo)
• Authored articles on health and medicinal herbs in local newspapers and magazines
• I am a member of the Central Executive Committee of Ayurved Vyaspeeth (Amravati). In recognition of my work in the field of Ayurveda, I have been awarded the "Rachanatmak Karya puraskar" in 2010 by the 'Vaidya Khadiwale Vaidyak Sanshodhan Sanstha' of Pune, and the "Veer Mata Jijau puraskar" in 2013 by the 'Krida Bharti' organization.
